Arbitration benefits consumers, businesses, and court systems. It allows legal disputes to be fairly and efficiently resolved without incurring the cost, stress and often lengthy ordeal of a lawsuit.
The only ones arbitration isn’t good for are personal injury lawyers, for whom fewer lawsuits mean lower profits and fewer opportunities to abuse our legal system.
That’s why the personal injury lawyers are pushing AB 465, which would eliminate arbitration agreements in some cases. This is just one more way trial lawyers work to make our lawsuit system serve their interests rather than the interests of ordinary people.
Use the tool below to urge Governor Brown to veto AB 465 and stop the trial lawyer money grab.
